I started reading Simple Church today. I think this will be a thought provoking book.
Already I’m thinking about how to make my life more simple. I feel like the book is coming at a good time for me.
How are you living simply? Do you want to live simply?

I try to live more simply by buying more things, then basing my identity in those things, and then forgetting those things once the newest thing is out and then try to repeat this action as much as possible.
simply put – buy more crap!

Anyways, from this book alone our Pastoral staff and church board totally revamp our purpose as a church…and I’m loving it. Saying no for the direct purpose of staying focused on what God has called you to is liberating… I really hope you like the read…I’ve been through it a few times…
