3) Not get burnt
4) Maybe do some Photoshop tutorials,
5) Come back refreshed!
You guys can keep me accountable for how I do. I might not blog while I’m there, but I’ll probably be using Twitter. You can check out my twitter status on the side over there or follow me here.
I’ve had blog block lately, partly because of my busy schedule, party because there are a lot of things going on in life right now too.
Sorry for the lack of blogging, hopefully after my vacation coming up I’ll be refreshed again. Maybe I can keep you updated if I have access to Internet while we are at the beach.
So, for some reason I’m obsessed now with this time lapse stuff. So I thought I would video myself driving home to see what it is like. The song I used we are doing this weekend at church, so I was listening to it on the way home on my phone since I don’t have a CD player in my ‘89 Oldsmobile.
I’ll try not to do any more of these crazy video’s this week. This one was much easier to put together than last night though. Using the old iMovie thanks to CJ.
If it only took me this long to get home that would be cool…
So here is a video I made of my desktop today. I got the idea from Carlos, and thought I would try it out. I tried to edit the movie and add text in iMovie (the newest version) but failed miserably and decided I don’t like the new iMovie like the old one. I need to find an inexpensive movie editing software. It kind of got cut off at the end as well, sorry! So, I hope the video is quasi enjoyable!
I thought it would be appropriate to dedicate a blog to my dad on Father’s Day. I have a great dad, he has done a great job raising me and my brothers (along side my mom) and providing for us in huge ways. There are so many things that I do today and have done that I couldn’t have done with out my dad’s help.
He’s a great guy. I love watching how he interacts with my mom and how well he treats her. I hope to be able to love Amanda the way my dad loves my mom 25 years from now like he does. He is very humble for how wise and smart he is. He is an extremely hard worker, and knows the feed business probably better than anyone else out there, but he loves just being a sales guy because of the everyday person interaction with the customers.
As you can see from the picture above, he is also a hunter. This is probably my favorite thing to do with my dad. Though I’m not as good or patient as he is, it’s still fun. This picture above is the day I saw like 200 some geese just come flying into the pond behind us and we were dropping birds left and right. I remember I didn’t shot one very well and just injured it and my dad had to go chase it down to kill it.
This was also the day I shot my first goose with a leg band. For those of you that don’t know, this is like a trophy, bird bling.
Anyways, I really appreciate my dad and am blessed to have him as a father. He has taught me so much. I love you dad, thanks! Sorry for not saying “I love you” on the phone today!

p.s. (can you ps on a blog?) when I say my dad is a hunter, I mean that he could have his own TV show taking hunters out and getting all kind of creatures, this guy knows more about birds and deer than another other person I know!
I’ve been at a conference the past few days, and the past couple weeks have been pretty crazy. That’s why I have had a limited amount of blogging occurring here. The conference I’m at has been pretty cool. We are actually playing on Thursday, so I’m looking forward to that. Since we are in the “band” we have all access passes, that makes us feel important. Or maybe just me, because I’ve never got a pass like that before. Anyways! I’ll hopefully blog more about the conference when I’m home.
consisted mainly of me trying to get rid of this. Sleepy and resting off a sinus infection. Let’s say I was unsuccessful. Hopefully it will be better this week for Saturate.
Here’s to sweet glands in your face that when they swell up, you can’t breathe!
